For economic reasons, birch plywood may also be manufactured as multilayered plywood with softer and mixed cores such as Poplar, Fir , Eucalyptus and other softer cores. However users are generally dissappointed with such imitation products and fake variants. They soon realise that such mixed core products do not match the quality, life and value of Birch. They quickly revert to using only 100% Birch plywood.
