MDF’s core ingredient is sawdust and small chippings of other timbers. In modern production facilities, these ingredients are manufactured as primary product and high quality is guaranteed.
The core ingredients may also be collected waste products from the machining process which makes the material cost much lower than plywood and solid wood. The quality for such products may be inferior.
