What are the types of Wood?

There are three main types of plywood : softwood plywood, hardwood plywood and tropical plywood.

Softwood plywood is made from softwood trees such as pine, fir, spruce and is commonly used in furniture making and also in construction.

Hardwood plywood is made from hardwood trees like oak, maple and birch and is used for high-end furniture, cabinetry and decorative purposes.

Tropics plywood is made from tropics hardwoods and is used in exterior and marine applications.
