What are the types of birch plywood and its applications?

Plywood can be classified based on its intended use. Exterior Plywood (made with exterior glue) is specially treated to withstand outdoor conditions like rain and humidity. Its is commonly used for home furniture, windows, door, decking, fences and outdoor structures.

Wood slats and plywood itself are often used in furniture making. Birch plywood (both in interior and exterior glue) is used for high-end furniture and cabinetry.

Thin flexible plywood, UV prefinished plywood, Colored film and smooth birch exterior plywood with high thickness tolerances are used for finishing applications, including for laser die cutting and toy making.

Film faced plywood (made with exterior glue) are used in formwork and shuttering for civil construction. Other coarse  or patterned films faced plywood, such as hexa, diamond film types are utilised for platforms (anti-slip),  load bearing floors ( heavy floors) for transportation and more
